Our Partners

Many organisations have requested to be involved with our work and we are keen to disseminate learning. For this purpose we have created a Partner network of organisations who support our vision and mission for youth social action in the UK. All Partners have signed our Charter of Commitments.

Partners form our broader network, which allows us to keep in touch with the wider sector. We will increasingly look to develop work in consultation with the wider network. We invite Partners to add their projects/ programmes to our social action map.

UK Youth work with a wide range of organisations to reach young people and provide them with varied and accessible opportunities to learn, enabling them to develop their skills and gain confidence.
London Youth supports a network of over 400 diverse community youth organisations where young people choose to go. With unique reach to over 75,000 young Londoners, they deliver programmes through this network in every London borough and out of town at two specialist residential learning centres.
 
Based in Bristol, Youth Moves provides opportunities for young people to take on youth social action through NCS, and project work with groups in school and in youth/ community settings. This includes activities such as running organising community events and festivals, holiday activity programmes, graffiti/ mural projects, planting, fund-raising and much more. 
Worth Unlimited provide opportunities for young people aged 10 to 25 to improve their local neighbourhood. Our community leaders programme is being delivered in local schools and in community settings & leads to youth-led social action projects that work in partnership with local people and organisations.
NUS supports youth social action by enabling students’ unions to deliver effective change campaigns on a local, regional and national level. NUS develops strong students’ unions, and supports the leadership of students and young people through our training programmes, projects and campaigns. Everything we do as a student movement encourages and inspires youth social action.
Leap provides conflict resolution training to young people and the adults that work with them – all across the UK. They work with young people aged 11 – 25 to understand and manage conflict to stop it becoming something more destructive or violent. 
Aylesbury Youth Action (AYA) works with young people aged 14-24 to support them in youth-led social action in their community on a wide range of projects.  AYA believes that volunteering should be accessible to all young people and as such is committed to addressing barriers that prevent participation. 
Affinity Sutton is one of the largest providers of affordable housing in England, with over 57,000 homes. The Community Investment team aim to help young people put down roots through supporting residents needing help. One of many initiatives is our Community Ambassadors programme which encourages young people to lead social action within their communities while gaining valuable skills. This programme has been shortlisted by Charity Times Big Society Award 2014.
Engage4Life believe in the power of youth to make a positive difference not just for themselves, but for their communities, Britain and beyond. Through their programmes they focus on the individual with a responsive & empathetic approach, striving to deliver life changing experiences for each young person, regardless of background.
University of the First Age is a national educational charity. Since 1996 they have worked with over 750,000 young people and 6,000 adults to create inspiring learning for all. It was developed by young people, putting them in the driving seat enabling them to be decision makers and give young people a voice in their community.
East Riding Voluntary Action Services (ERVAS) Ltd is a Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We offer a range of support and advice services for the voluntary, community and not for profit (VCS) sector.
Not Just a Training Company (NJaTC) establishes youth-led social enterprises that benefit entire communities. This programme provides social enterprise education & work experience that equips young people with tools and confidence to enhance their chances of employment/self-employment.
BYC empower young people aged 25 and under to influence and inform the decisions that affect their lives. They support young people to get involved in their communities and democracy locally, nationally and internationally, making a difference as volunteers, campaigners, decision-makers and leaders.
Essential Skills is a Community Interest Company that offers employability training and employment opportunities to 16-24 year olds across London. They are passionate about empowering young people to gain the necessary skills to access and excel in the modern working environment.
The Mayor’s ambition is to inspire and support young people to take up social action, benefitting their communities and gaining the skills to find work. With delivery partners Free the Children, Inspire and City Gateway, Team London supports programmes for young people, aged five to 25, which fulfil this ambition.
