Generation Change members Uprising, vInspired and UnLtd will receive part of a new £33m funding pot from the Big Lottery Fund. Our Bright Future aims to tackle three big challenges facing society today – a lack of social cohesion, a lack of opportunities for young people and vulnerability to climate change. Thirty one youth-led projects across the UK are receiving around £1m each of National Lottery funding to give young people the skills and knowledge to improve their local environments – from reducing marine pollution to minimising food waste. In doing so, young people will develop the confidence and resilience to become environmental leaders and influence decisions at local and national levels. 

Uprising’s Green Leaders is a nine-month Environmental Leadership Programme involving access behind the scenes with some of the UK’s most senior leaders. Read more here.

vInspired’s Eco Talent replicates vInspired’s successful model of delivering full-time volunteering placements within the environmental sector, and will run from January 2016 to December 2018. Read more here. 

UnLtd’s Spaces 4 Change will find, fund and support young people aged 16-24 to start and run social ventures which transform unused or under-utilised local spaces.  Read more here.
